Creating a Telegram bot
Before using the module, you need to create a Telegram bot. Here’s how to do it:
2. Start a dialogue with BotFather and enter the command /newbot to create a new bot.
3. Follow the instructions, enter the name of your bot, and a unique username for your bot.
4. After successfully creating the bot, BotFather will provide you with the API token of your bot. This token is necessary for configuring the module.
After that, the bot needs to be added to the group.
Creating a group in Telegram
2. Select New group: In the menu, select Create new group.
3. Set the group name: Enter the group name. This will be displayed at the top of the chat.
4. Set privacy settings: You can choose who can find your group and who can join it. These settings can be changed later in the group settings.
5. Create the group: Tap “Create”.
6. Invite the bot: After creating the group, invite your Telegram bot to it, which will send notifications about new orders and messages from the contact form. To do this, simply add the bot to the group like you add any other member, using its unique username.
7. Configure notifications: Make sure your Telegram bot has permission to send messages to the group. Usually, when a bot is added to a group, it has the corresponding permissions by default.
Done: Now your group in Telegram is created, and your bot is ready to send notifications to it. But that’s not all. You need to find out the chat ID.
What is a Chat ID?
1. Find User Info Bot: Enter the name User Info Bot in the search bar or follow the link User Info Bot.
2. Start a dialogue with the bot: Tap the Start button to start a dialogue with the bot.
3. Send any message: Send any message to the bot’s dialogue.
4. Get the chat ID: After sending the message, the bot will send you information about your profile in Telegram, including your chat ID. Usually, this will be a number.
5. Write down the chat ID: Write down or copy your chat ID. This number will be used to configure notifications in your module or application.
After completing these steps, you will be able to receive notifications about new orders and messages from the contact form directly in your group in Telegram.
So, everything is ready. Now you can install the “Notify Telegram” module in PrestaShop. After installing the module, go to its settings.
In the module settings, enter the API token of your Telegram bot and the chat ID where notifications will be sent.
You can also enter a test message to test the notifications.
Enable options to receive notifications about new orders or messages from the contact form, if necessary. Click “Save”.

I can only receive the message test. I tried to place and order and filled the contact form but i do not get any notification on Telegram.
I downloaded correct version in this post, order notification works, but contact form not.
